Senior Vice President
Mr. MacGillivray joined Energy Investors Funds in 2007 in the role of Senior Vice President for the Asset Management team. He joins the firm with over 20 years of experience and a broad background in the energy industry. Mr. MacGillivray spent the past nine years with GE Energy Financial Services (EFS) in Stamford, CT, where he served as a Senior Vice President in a variety of roles including risk underwriting, portfolio management and technical advisory. Previous to his years at GE EFS, Mr. MacGillivray spent eight years with GE Power Systems in roles that included the start-up, O&M, and management of combined cycle power projects. Prior to this, he spent four years with Exxon Shipping Company as an engineer in their oil tanker fleet. Mr. MacGillivray received his BS in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1986 and his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic University in 1997.
