Senior Partner

Mr. Schroeder joined EIF in 2001 and serves as a Senior Investment Officer for the USPF Funds. Mr. Schroeder is responsible for originating, evaluating, analyzing, structuring, and closing new fund investments as well as ongoing portfolio company management. Mr. Schroeder also served as Co-Portfolio Manager of Energy Investors Fund, L.P. (“EIF I”) and Energy Investors Fund II, L.P. (“EIF II”) and was involved in structuring and fundraising for the Caribbean Basin Power Fund, Ltd., a fund managed by the Management Company (the “Caribbean Basin Power Fund”). He also sits on the Executive and Investment Committees. Prior to joining EIF, Mr. Schroeder worked for the investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he served as a Team Leader responsible for origination and relationship management with U.S. power and electric utility clients. Mr. Schroeder was responsible for numerous power project advisory, project finance, private equity, fixed income, and equity capital markets transactions during his nine-year tenure as a banker in the U.S. power sector. His prior work experience includes both electric utility and structured finance work for First Union Bank. Mr. Schroeder earned an M.B.A. in International Finance from American University and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware.
